End-to-end encryption
All your data are encrypted & decrypted in your browser only, automatically. Legal
orders, spying, hacking: it doesn't matter, it will still be encrypted because the
only way to decrypt your data is based on your password. And nobody knows your
password, apart from you (not even us).
Anonymous
We know nothing about you: not your name, your recipients, the name, type & size of your
files, nor, of course, the subject & content of your messages. We don't even analyse or
log your activity.

The Webmail you know,
securely simple
securely simple
It's all about continuing to send, receive & organize your emails, as before, with your
current address or a new one - easily and simply. Except everything is authentified and
encrypted by default: your messages and attachments.
No need to deal with public or private keys, no need to worry if your recipients have a KRYPT7 account, or if they can deal with encryption technology.
Send anyone an encrypted email, with 2Gb encrypted files attached, knowing that, regardless of their system or without any instructions, they will decrypt and read your message. Welcome to KRYPT7.

Encrypted or even in clear:
your choice
your choice
Encryption is the security by default - transparent between KRYPT7 users. Even if non
KRYPT7 users can effortlessly read and decrypt your encrypted emails, you may want to
send them a specific email in clear: not by mistake but by choice - and you have it.
Any recipient can read
& respond your encrypted email
& respond your encrypted email
Even without an account, your recipients can read & respond to your encrypted emails,
with the same level of security and without any knowledge.
They receive an email with a link: a click and they are redirected to KRYPT7 wich automatically decrypt your message in just a couple of seconds. Your recipients can read it, download the attachments and even reply to you. All without creating an account.

Attach 350Mb encrypted files,
as many as you need to
as many as you need to
Because KRYPT7 handles every encrypted email directly, you can encrypt and attach any
file up to 350Mb and as many files as you want. Send anyone 2Gb of encrypted files by
email. Why not?
Remember, if you choose to send clear emails, the old and frustrating limitations apply: all the attachments and the email content combined can't exceed 8Mb at the most.

Signed emails:
the authentic message from the right person
the authentic message from the right person
Encrypting emails allows the senders to sign them: a code stamp is incorporated in the
message just before its encryption. A way to ensure that the message you are reading is
the exact message sent to you by a verified sender.
To fight spam and phishing even outside KRYPT7, your recipients without an account can verify the authenticity of your encrypted emails, simply by checking their unique codes.

10 seconds tops.
Encrypted files storage:
go untraceable
go untraceable
Your files are stored encrypted. So must be their metadata: name, size & type. But it's
not sufficient.
Your files are systematically sliced in equal chunks: each one randomly changes their name and type, then is encrypted separately and finally stored along with everyone else's files. The same method is used in reverse to download your files: download & decryption of each chunk, reassembly - again, only in your browser.
And yes, that's also the system used for email attachments.
How can anyone spy on your encrypted files without knowing the decrypting key?
First of all, how can they even find them without their names, types, size, number & order of their chunks?

Optional security boost:
a custom password for each file
a custom password for each file
By default, as with your emails, a strong derivation of your password is used to encrypt
your files. If you want to, you can even increase your security to the highest levels by
choosing a specific password for each file.
Lighting fast
The slicing and separate encryption process ensures high privacy & compatibility with
all major browsers. That's also guaranteeing speed, because file chunks are working in
parallel: in fact, all the encryption or decryption steps are considerably faster than
the upload or download phases.
Passwords
Embrace high security online conduct and generate unique, super strong
passwords for each website where you have an account. All the passwords are
stored encrypted, securely and easily accessible.
Contacts
Simple contact manager, connected to your inbox and encrypted - of course.
Monitor
Update your status at least every 2 weeks, on KRYPT7 or by SMS. If you
don't, each recipient of your messages will automatically receive the email
intended for them.

Questions & Answers
PRIVACY / SECURITY
What do you really know about me?
Your KRYPT7 email address, phone number and username - all data that you can change anytime
and of which we don't keep history. We even don't ask you at all about your name, your postal address, your country, your age, your gender, your profession, your other email addresses, etc. So again, we don't know your name, your recipients, the name, type & size of your files, nor, of course, the subject & content of your messages.
In absolute, we can also know the date of creation of each new content (email sent, file uploaded, etc.). However, we don't analyse or log the activity of users and don't use cookies: more broadly, we never share user data or activity.
Please see all the details in our Privacy Policy, accessible in the footer of all pages.
How safe is the storage of my data?
You data are continuously backed up in 3 identical replica sets, provisioned across 3
distinct data-centers, ensuring your backups are typically just a few seconds behind the
operational system (automatic failover in the event of a failure).Additionally to the systematic end-to-end KRYPT7 encryption, your data are encrypted one more time in transit and also at rest:
- in transit (SSL): from every point of our systems to another, as well as from and to your browser
- at rest (AES-256): on storage in our databases, as in our storage servers (all in extra to the encryption of your data themselves).
WEBMAIL
Which type of emails can I send?
KRYPT7 supports natively HTML emails, which can contain advanced typography, images embedded
into the message's content and, of course, have files attached to them. If you send an email
in clear, because you might thereby send an email outside of KRYPT7, we're systematically
adding to the HTML version a plain-text version, to ensure maximum compatibility with old
email clients.
How to use in KRYPT7 an email address on my domain?
First, you will have to create an account with a @krypt7.com address. After that,
just go to the emails tab, then to the settings tab, and start register your
domain for outgoing (the messages that you send) & incoming (the messages that you receive)
emails. You must have access to your domain’s DNS records, in order to verify it: just
follow the instructions to add the necessary records.Modification of DNS records can be a scary: if you have any hesitation, contact our support team. And remember, it may take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate.
Can I access my emails through POP3 or IMAP protocols?
You can't, due to the highly secured technology used by KRYPT7 to encrypt and decrypt emails
right in the user's browser. Therefore, for the same reason, you can't use third-part email
software to access your emails. That's also why we work hard to provide you an easy,
beautiful and powerful webmail.
FILES
Why the files are limited to 350Mb in upload?
As KRYPT7 provides high security encryption & decryption in the user's browser, you can only
encrypt & upload files up to 350Mb, due to memory's limitations of all major browsers. Those
limitations evolve regularly - so will we, as soon as we can.
How work the encryption of my files, my emails' attachments?
Your files are systematically sliced in equal chunks: each one changes randomly their name
and type, is encrypted separately and stored along with every other files of everybody. The
same method is used backward to download your files: download & decryption of each chunk,
reassemblage - again, all in your browser only. And yes, that's also the system used for email's attachments.
MISC
Why your prices are based on my country?
Simply because $1 doesn't represent the same value everywhere in the world. That's why our
prices vary, based on your country's median income. There are 4 main facturation zone:
- zone 1: $1/mo
- zone 2: $2/mo
- zone 3: $4/mo
- zone 4: $8/mo
Also, if you live in a country with a very low press freedom, the price you'll pay is the lowest possible (zone 1), regardless your country median income, to facilitate the use of tools protecting your privacy.
Countries categories are defined according to the World Bank statistics and the annual Reporters Without Borders report on press freedom. Our system is not perfect, but definitely more fair than the global idea that everyone should pay the same amount - regardless of the cost of their life.
What are the limitations of the beta?
None. The beta will last 6 months, until late August 2019. It will offer us a special period
to adapt our services, based on users' returns.
Do you have mobile applications?
Not for the moment, but that's definitely a goal we are working on right now.
Can I submit you a suggestion, a feature request, a simple message?
Of course, don't hesitate to contact our support team: we'll be happy to hear from you.
